The Runnymede Foodbank supports hundreds of vulnerable and self-isolating people within the Runnymede borough in Surrey. During the Covid-19 crisis the demand on this initiative has largely increased. This means the need for extra funds funds needed to support the foodbank are ever-growing. The Runnymede Borough Council wanted to increase awareness of the Runnymede Foodbank. They wanted a fundraising video to help showcase the great work being done by councillors, volunteers, and donors.
Cube Video’s approach to this fundraising video was to showcase the devotion, passion to help and overview of the foodbank. This video needed to both educate the audience and inspire them to volunteer and donate. We wanted to profile the people giving their time to help vulnerable people in need whilst showing how the foodbank works. We hope the fundraising video will encourage people to donate and support the initiative.
With the current situation in mind we had to approach this project with safety in mind. We used strict guidelines, correct PPE and social distancing whilst on the shoot. Our equipment was wiped and clean before and after entry to the foodbank. Here is an image of James Hakesley whilst on the shoot.
