With a goal to increase Crown Paints Instagram engagement, followers and sales we created a series of socially optimised videos that put their paint to the test using real-life scenarios to demonstrate durable their paint is.

Our process

The Crown Paints EasyClean paint allows you to wipe down the surface to avoid marks and stains. We researched the most common scenarios that fit with the key demographic and began to draft the problem and solution for each scenario. Following this research, we crafted 7 storylines that would resonate with the audience:

  • Spilling coffee
  • Making a smoothie
  • Boiling soup
  • Baby food
  • Baking a cake
  • Kids drawing on walls
  • Muddy bikes in the hallway

The outcome

We produced seven scenario videos that were optimised for Instagram and advertising with multiple outros for different retailers. These amassed over 100,000 views on Instagram.
